Bus Transport and Airshow Parking

buy tickets nowPlease note the following points aimed at maintaining efficient traffic flows for both Air Show patrons and other road users. The diagram shown below will also assist you to chose your point of entry to the Air Show precinct:

  • Gates will open at 7.30am on both the Saturday and the Sunday.  Please be early as it will be an advantage for you to avoid the later, more intense traffic flows as the city goes about its business.
  • Clear road signs will guide you from State Highways and major access roads to one of the three car parks [blue arrows on the diagram].
  • There is no charge for car parking; however pre-purchase of tickets from this website should smooth your progress into the car-park area of your choice, in addition to saving you money.
  • Car Park 1 should provide better traffic flow before and after the show. If you do not want to walk the one kilometre to the Show pedestrian gate there will be shuttle buses leaving periodically from Car Park 1. You will require an Air Show admission ticket to use this service.
  • Dogs [other than guide dogs for persons who are visually impaired] are not permitted on the airfield or in cars parked in any of the air show car parks.
  • Additional parking or stopping restrictions may apply on roads within the air show precinct.
  • If you do park on any of the roads in the surrounding area please be considerate to the residents and commercial property owners who may require access and avoid damaging grassed areas in parks and berms.
